Test post for the Tech subcategory, with the tags Docker, Bookmarks and Self-hosting.

Browser bookmarks are where links go to die. A self-hosted bookmark manager in a container fixed that for me.

# docker-compose.yml
services:
  linkding:
    image: sissbruecker/linkding:latest
    ports:
      - "9090:9090"
    volumes:
      - ./data:/etc/linkding/data
    restart: unless-stopped

1. Run docker compose up -d.
2. Create the admin user.
3. Install the browser extension.
4. Import the old bookmarks and never look at most of them again.
